Do I need a lawyer for an agreed divorce?
It is good to have an attorney review your Final Divorce Decree. We have had clients come into our office because their divorce papers were not done well. For example, in order to divide the house or collect on the equity from a house, there are additional documents you need to sign. These papers are separate from your divorce decree. Therefore, you are not required to hire an attorney. But, you can ask one of our staff attorneys to review your prepared documents. We provide limited representation. It will save you time.
What Happens if I don’t Sign the Divorce Papers?
